Anina is chief of the six-member contract grower group ‘Aselsam’ that produces certified seed of Utamua, the improved peanut variety released by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MAF). Women Farmers of Liquica		Women Farmers Sowing Seeds for Success
In 2013, Seeds of Life assisted the women farmers of Mori Foun community seed production group, Liquica, Timor-Leste, in successfully installing a drip irrigation system in their sweet potato fields. Seeds of Life constantly examines innovative and simple ways to improve crop storage and reduce post-harvest losses. As weevils are a constant threat to the storage process, researchers have been assessing the benefits of large rubber bands sealing the lids. Download via Vimeo.
